The Museums on Us program promotes culture, art, and science by giving folks free entry into more than 150 museums and cultural centers nationwide. You just need a Bank of America (or Merrill Lynch) debit or credit card!
Qualifying cards include:
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Personal)
- Bank of America Alaska Airlines (Small Business)
- Bank Americard Travel Rewards
- Bank of America Virgin Atlantic
Just show your card at the door along with a photo ID.
Free entry is only good for Bank of America or Merrill Lynch cardholders. So if you’re visiting with others, they’ll need to bring their own card or pay full price.
Thanks to Million Mile Secrets reader Sharon for pointing out that free admission does not necessarily mean you’ll have access to the entire museum. Some museums charge additional fees for different exhibits. So research your museum before you go!
This is a great opportunity for families and friends looking for ways to save on entertainment. If you’re in Washington, DC, you could stop by the Newseum. And in Portland, Oregon, you can visit the Portland Children’s Museum.
