Is It Worth It?
This deal is better than the current offer that does NOT include the $50 statement credit. But this isn’t the best offer we’ve seen.
Most recently, you could earn 50,000 United Airlines miles with the United MileagePlus Explorer card after meeting minimum spending requirements. And we’ve seen targeted offers for 75,000 United Airlines miles plus a $50 statement credit.
So it’s probably worth waiting for a better offer, unless you were already considering applying for the card soon.
And if you’re new to miles and points, there are more valuable cards you should consider first, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Citi Prestige. Because of Chase’s stricter approval rules.
