For example, you can transfer American Express Membership Rewards points from cards like the Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express or The Enhanced Business Platinum® Card from American Express OPEN, to Delta at a ratio of 1:1. And transfers are instant!
There are plenty of credit cards that earn Delta miles, like the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express, and the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Business Credit Card from American Express. Plus, when you have one of these cards, you’ll get priority boarding and a free checked bag!
Use Hotel Points to Stay Free
There are lots of ways to get cheap or free hotel rooms with points from credit cards. Check out my post on how to decide which hotel cards are best for US travel.
My favorite tool for finding hotels that can be booked with points is Hotel Hustle. And if you don’t have hotel points, you can transfer flexible points like Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards to different hotel programs.
And don’t forget about Airbnb! It’s a fantastic way to save money on accommodations, especially for longer stays. Here are some tips on how to negotiate a better Airbnb price, and how to find a safe and comfortable Airbnb.
