Through February 17, 2017, you can earn an 80% bonus on Hilton points purchases of 5,000+ points.
Normally, Hilton sells points for 1 cent each, in 1,000 point increments. So 1,000 Hilton points usually costs $10.
With this deal, you can buy Hilton points for ~0.6 cents each, when you buy at least 5,000 points.
For example, if you bought the minimum number of points (5,000 points) required for the deal, you’d pay $50 and get a 4,000 point bonus (80% X 5,000 points). For a total of 9,000 Hilton points. That’s ~0.6 cents per point ($50 / 9,000 points).
You can buy a maximum of 80,000 Hilton points per calendar year (before any bonuses are applied).
Is It Worth It?
As always, I recommend doing the math to see what makes sense for your particular situation.
For example, say you wanted to spend a night at the Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort.
Nights here can easily cost ~$700+. But you could use 80,000 Hilton points per night instead.

With this deal, you could buy 45,000 Hilton points and get a 36,000 Hilton point bonus (81,000 Hilton points total), for $450. So you’d be saving ~$250 per night ($700 – $450) on your stay!
That’s still a lot to spend on a hotel, but it could make sense if you’re splurging for a special occasion. 
In some cases, if you have a paid stay coming up and award nights are available, it could be worth it to buy the points for your stay and save your cash too!
Note: It can often be hard to find available award nights at popular Hilton hotels. So be sure to check the award calendar before buying points.
