If you’ve been considering a European vacation, today is the day to book!

Via The Flight Deal, you can fly from many US cities to destinations like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Madrid, Milan, Rome, and more for ~$400 round-trip in coach on airlines like American Airlines and Delta.

And Frequent Miler reports even cheaper fares from the West Coast in the low $300 range!  Plus, if you’re an AARP member or have the Chase British Airways Visa Signature® Card, and can find flights on British Airways, you could save even more.

Travel dates vary, but some include spring and summer 2017 travel.  These are terrific deals for peak season to Europe!

Dreaming of a European Trip? Fly to Many Cities in Europe for ~$300 to ~$400 Round-Trip, Even for Spring and Summer Travel

Here are the details.  And how to search for deals from your city!

How to Book It

Link:   Google Flights

You can check  The Flight Deal and Frequent Miler for how to book.  Or see my posts for how to use Google Flights and ITA Matrix to find sale dates.

Then book directly on the airline website or through a site like Orbitz.

If you book a ticket with an online travel agency like OrbitzExpedia, or Priceline you may be eligible for a refund within a short time of booking your ticket.  Check out my post on cancellation policies for airlines and online travel agencies for more details!

I found round-trip coach flights between Boston and Stockholm from June 5, 2017, to June 13, 2017, for ~$371 on SWISS.

Fare Sale US To Europe

Fly to Stockholm in June 2017 for ~$371 Round-Trip From Boston on SWISS

Or New York and Paris from May 11, 2017, to May 18, 2017, for ~$398 on British Airways (Open Skies).

Lots of cities are included!  So use Google Flights or ITA Matrix to play with dates and destinations from your home airport to see if you can find a cheap fare!

Sweeten the Deal

If you’re an AARP member (anyone can join), you can save $65 on round-trip, trans-Atlantic British Airways flights (including Open Skies).  You’ll have to book through the British Airways AARP website to get the discount.

And Chase British Airways cardholders save 10% off British Airways flights when they use promotion code “CARDOFFERU” and book through British Airways.  And you can stack this deal with the AARP discount to save even more.

Hotel Information

If you book a sale flight, remember there are lots of ways to get cheap or free hotel rooms with points from credit card bonuses and spending.

Check out my favorite Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and Starwood hotels in Europe!

To find hotels that can be booked with points, I use Hotel Hustle (which even shows you if rooms are actually available!) or AwardMapper.

Remember, you can transfer flexible points like Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards to different hotel programs.

Note:  If you prefer to book paid stays, check out discount sites like Orbitz, Expedia, or TravelPony for deals.  But remember you won’t get stay credits or points (and might not have your elite status recognized!).

Airbnb is another terrific way to save money on accommodations, especially for longer stays.  Here are some tips on how to negotiate a better Airbnb price, and how to find a safe and comfortable Airbnb.
