Through March 15, 2017, Delta is having a flash award sale to Europe. You’ll save 30,000 Delta miles round-trip when you book a Business Class ticket, and 10,000 miles on coach tickets. For travel from August 1, 2017, through October 31, 2017.
Normally, round-trip Business Class tickets start at 140,000 Delta miles in Delta’s “Delta One” lie-flat seats. So this is a good deal.
I searched for Business Class award seats between Atlanta and London for a one-week trip in early September 2017. Here’s what I found:

Delta’s lowest level round-trip coach tickets to Europe usually cost 60,000 Delta miles. So the savings in coach isn’t as significant. And you’ll still have to pay taxes and fees on these tickets.
Plus, you might be better off using Delta’s Pay With Miles for coach tickets. Because there have been a number of recent sales to Europe, with coach tickets selling for ~$500. Check out this post for more about Pay With Miles.

Bottom Line
You can book discounted award flights from the US to Europe in coach and Business Class with Delta’s latest promotion.
But you must book by March 15, 2017, for travel between August 1, 2017, and October 31, 2017.
Discounted coach flights will cost 50,000 Delta miles round-trip. And round-trip tickets in Business Class cost 110,000 Delta miles.
If you’re looking for Business Class seats, this deal could be worth it! The savings on coach tickets isn’t as good. Especially given the number of recent cheap sales in coach to Europe.
