Starwood points are very flexible. You can use them for lots of things, like hotels, flights, and Amtrak!
I want to know the most money you’ve saved with Starwood points. What’s the best value you’ve received from them and how? Or, if you haven’t redeemed Starwood points yet, what would you like to spend them on?
For example, I used 4,000 Starwood points to stay at the ITC Rajputana, a room that costs ~$130 per night, for a value of ~3.25 cents per point ($130 stay / 4,000 Starwood points)
Team member Keith used 120,000 Starwood points to stay 5 nights at the St. Regis Bali, which would have otherwise cost $4,205, giving him a value of ~3.5 cents per point ($4,205 stay / 120,000 Starwood points).
And team member Joseph transferred 20,000 Starwood points to Korean Air for a round-trip coach ticket from Cincinnati to Maui, a ticket that would have cost $1,000+, giving him a value of ~5 cents per point ($1,000 flight / 20,000 Starwood points).
