Through August 31, 2017, IHG and Coca-Cola have teamed up to offer the Sharing Summer promotion. New auction items will be posted daily (on weekdays only). And you can use your IHG points to bid on experiences and merchandise.
Similar to SPG moments from Starwood, you can buy all kinds of once-in-a-lifetime experiences with your IHG points, like special access to sporting events, Broadway shows, vacation packages, and music festivals.
If you find an experience you’re interested in and have IHG points to spare, bidding on it might make sense! But as always, do the math to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
And if you enter this giveaway, you could win 24,000 IHG points!

It’s not usually wise to redeem miles & points for things other than travel. Because you will probably NOT get the best value per point. But if you find something you really want to do, it can be worth it!
