Folks with the Discover it can now activate the 2nd quarter 5% bonus cash back categories of restaurants and movies. You’ll earn 5% back in these categories between April 1, 2016, and June 30, 2016, on up to $1,500 in spending.

And your Netflix subscription counts as movie tickets! Remember, new cardholders (or folks who previously registered) will have their cash back doubled at the end of their 1st 12 billing cycles.
So you’ll effectively earn 10% cash back on dining out, Netflix, and movies! Even on purchases outside the US.
Save on Netflix All Through 2016
Unfortunately, there’s no way to pre-pay Netflix, so you’ll get 5% back each month. But here’s a tip to continue saving 5% or 10% later in the year. Purchase a Netflix gift card through Amazon.com from July 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016, when Amazon is a Discover it 5% bonus category!
Remember, the Discover it doesn’t add foreign transaction fees, so it’s a good card to use while you’re traveling overseas! Discover cards aren’t accepted everywhere, but you can look for the China Union Pay, Discover, Diners Club, or JCB logo at places you can use your card.
2. Citi ThankYou Virgin Atlantic 25% Transfer Bonus
Via FrequentMiler, you’ll earn a 25% bonus when you transfer Citi ThankYou points to Virgin Atlantic until April 6, 2016, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
You’ll get 1,250 Virgin Atlantic miles for every 1,000 Citi ThankYou points you transfer. Normally, the ratio is 1:1, so this is a good deal if you like redeeming Virgin Atlantic miles.
Virgin Atlantic adds big fuel surcharges to their own award tickets. But folks might consider using Virgin Atlantic miles for award flights on Virgin America or Hawaiian Airlines (which don’t add fuel surcharges).
And if you can find available award seats, you can use Virgin Atlantic miles to fly Delta (and pay only the taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges Delta normally adds).
3. AMEX Offer – $10 Off $25+ at Carraba’s Italian Grill
AMEX cardholders can earn a $10 statement credit when they spend $25+ at Carrabba’s Italian Grill through May 31, 2016.
To get the deal, sign-in your American Express account and add the offer to your card. Or tweet “#AMEXCarrabbas” @AMEXOffers from your synced Twitter account.
This offer is only available in-restaurant. Airport locations (and a couple of spots in Houston) don’t qualify.

4. Amazon Prime Members Get $15 Off With Discover Card
Are you an Amazon Prime and Discover cardholder?
Until December 31, 2016, Amazon Prime members can earn up to $15 off an Amazon purchase when they link their Discover card account and use promotion code “DISC16EVER”.
To get the discount, pay for your Amazon purchase with at least 1 cent from your Discover cashback bonus. Only products sold and shipped by Amazon are eligible (not 3rd parties).
Some folks report the promotion code didn’t work for them, but Amazon customer service was able to apply the discount when they called in.
