To earn American Airlines miles at IHG or Choice hotels, book through the American Airlines Shopping Portal. The IHG deal is valid through September 30, 2016. And the Choice deal is ongoing with no published end date.
You’ll have to book a paid stay and can NOT use a coupon, discount code, or hotel points.
