UBS will release the UBS Visa Infinite card on May 27, 2017. After completing the card’s minimum spending requirements, you’ll earn a sign-up bonus worth up to $900 in travel!

$900 in Travel Is Enough for a Round-Trip Ticket (or 2!) to Lots of Spots in the US, Including New York City!
I’ll share what we know about this new card so far.
New UBS Visa Infinite Card
On May 27, 2017, UBS will launch its Visa Infinite card, and you’ll be able to earn 50,000 bonus points (redeemable through UBS) after spending $3,000 within the first 3 months of account opening.
- 3X points on airfare
- 2X points on gas and groceries
- 1X points on everything else
- $250 annual airline fee credit
- 12 free Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi passes per year
- Global Entry fee credit
- Visa Infinite benefits
- and more!
The $495 annual fee is NOT waived the first year, but the benefits will certainly help offset it.
Is This a Good Deal?
It looks similar to premium cards from other banks, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, US Bank Altitude Reserve, and the AMEX Platinum card. But I’m always happy to see more banks offering rewards cards with big sign-up bonuses! Because the customers benefit when banks compete.
A UBS representative told a Reddit commenter that existing UBS clients can contact their UBS Financial Advisor to apply. Folks who aren’t already UBS clients will need to request a paper application be mailed to them by calling 888-762-1232.
Bottom Line
UBS will launch its Visa Infinite card on May 27, 2017. With this new premium card, you can earn 50,000 bonus points (redeemable through UBS) after meeting minimum spending requirements.
Like other premium cards, it comes with a hefty annual fee. But the perks may be worth it for some.
